Sony Showing Off New Vita Games Over Web Stream

Thumbnail image for vitapackshot.jpg Gamasutra reports that Sony will be holding a web broadcast next week, where the company will reveal details of upcoming Playstation Vita titles.

Dubbed the "Playstation Vita Game Heaven" broadcast, it will run on March 9 at 8PM JST, and will feature various presentations from a multitude of developers.

Not much information about the games have been announced, but details including info about these games and upcoming Vita services will be announced as part of the broadcast.

The Vita has had a strong launch worldwide, selling over 1 million units, yet is still struggling in Japan. Hopefully this broadcast will help boost potential sales for the system.

Nintendo 3DS Standing Strong In Japan As Vita Slips

Despite a strong launch in Japan, the Vita has struggled recently, especially compared to Nintendo's established giant. The non-native deficit of backwards compatibility has most likely hindered current PSP owners to upgrade to the latest games device from Sony.
